emma + ben wed

Preparing for a Texas wedding from New York can be a daunting task for anyone.  Because of this, Emma and Ben called us in early to be a big part of their wedding at The Plant in Kyle, TX.  The house, tucked back in the Austin hill-country, is an industrial steel building with a large screened in porch and a rustic and natural outdoor setting.

The ceremony took place under a large oak tree where their closest friends partook in the Chuppah ceremony.  For the reception, we lined the yard with farm style tables and mismatched bottle arrangements of white flowers with accents of greenery.  Sprigs of rosemary in napkins were paired with mason jars favors for all in attendance.

The dancing was a huge part of the night, so of course the Horah dance was a highlight of the event!  Tiny pies in a variety of flavors were available instead of traditional wedding cake…. boy, was that a great choice.   The couple had their time of their lives as “one more song” was shouted… a few times.  No doubt that Emma and Ben were ready to leave TX though… they had to catch a flight to Bali!

A BIG thanks to Nathan Russell Photography for these gorgeous shots...

  1. Where did you print the mason jar tags? They are cute and the saying is adorable.
