janell + keith wed

Janell and Keith came into Sweet Sunday Events wanting a primary colored, laid-back, fun backyard shindig. A primary colored wedding is rare in the wedding world, so no doubt we jumped at the chance to be involved in what we knew was going to be the most quilt-tastic wedding ever!

A red, yellow, green and blue quilt, made by the mother of the bride, stood as the focal point during the ceremony as coordinating fabric bunting draped from the enormous tree, overlooking the river. Quilts, used for guest seating, were scattered across the lawn as the immediate family took their place on the hay bales. Heirlooms and antiques were used throughout the event, from old windows hanging as a dance floor back drop to a reclaimed buffet used as the cake table… everything came together flawlessly.

The reception tent was draped with bunting that brightened the space and created such a fun atmosphere. Keith popped the question to Janell in a room full of brightly colored balloons, so we floated yellow and orange balloons to the top of the tent. Wood pallets were pieced together, creating the perfect backdrop for their cakes. It was really such a fun wedding to be a part of! Congrats, Janell and Keith!
