the watercolor bride
As you can see, we have some stellar summer weddings currently in the works! We kick off our phenomenal wedding season this weekend with a beautiful watercolor inspired one at Villa Del Lago. And when I say beautiful, I mean take your breath away awesomeness that you won’t find anywhere else! Over the last few weeks I shared her colorful bridal portrait bouquet and custom curated canvas {not quite complete, still waiting for the addition of real flowers. Yep, that’s right, clusters of real flowers will spill out of canvas for even more interest!}. It’s no surprise that I can’t wait to share more of the wedding day design, but I guess you will just have to wait ‘til after this weekend to learn more!

the chevron bride
It’s all the rage and I’m just as obsessed with it as the next person. So you could only imagine how thrilled I am to be designing a chevron inspired wedding! From the arch to the table tops, chevron will find its way throughout this modern-n- slight rustic wedding. From big time wedding blogs to wedding magazines, this one will, without doubt, get snagged up for many features!
the ombre bride
Ombre, let me be honest with you, I wasn’t so sure about you. For sure, a popular design element, but a bit too out there even for me?! Yeah, maybe at first introduction. But let me tell you, boooy was I wrong to ever question this on point trend! I love and now can’t get enough of ombre, thus, why the hell not infuse this pretty little design element to our La Paloma wedding?!

the fringe bride
We LOVE brides that give us full reign to design, create and execute their wedding day décor without any doubt or hesitation. Our fringe bride is just that. Supplying us with the color palette, she has allowed us to run wild with a fun, intimate backyard affair that {any and} everyone would be ecstatic to attend—I know I can’t wait and I already know the full design and layout!

special offer this weekend
After a very social weekend, food indulging and drink overload, I am dragging a bit this Monday afternoon. So if you are like me and need a pep in your step, you've come to the right place...
This weekend we are teaming up with Kelly Cameron Photography and Gabriel Springs to offer a FREE save the date styled shoot. The Sweet Sunday Events team has pulled together some of our most popular vintage pieces and have big plans for each of the three vingettes. You won't want to miss out on this amazing opportunity!
Here's the deal {via Kelly Cameron}- RSVP with Kelly Cameron at kelly@kellycameron.net to get you scheduled! We have limited spots remaining on Saturday and Sunday, so be sure to snag your spot before they are all gone.
What will we get?
What is a styled session? Good questions! A styled shoot is sort of like creating a set for a play or a movie. The designer (in this instance, Sweet Sunday Events) creates vignettes or little sets that provide creative style and personality. As you see from the shots above, the furnishings and design didn’t just happen to show up in the middle of the woods (where we shot that newlywed session) -they were thoughtfully constructed by a team who provide and created all those little details so the couple could come in and we could get extraordinary photos!
We better see you this weekend!

shiny things
I was in love with metallics before metallics were cool. I promise. Don't you remember?! Well, anyway, did you catch these amazing paper works infused with metallics over on 100 Layer Cake? They are to die for. And, quite frankly, so are these metallic works...

casual on top, dressy on bottom
Three years later, I still wouldn't change a thing at my wedding-- or so I said before I laid eyes upon this beautiful trend. How rad would it have been to tweak my dress before entering my reception? Why the hell not go more casual before indulging in food, drinks and dancing?! Such a great idea. I should have thought of this...
