favorite {photoshoot} friday

{Quick note: Come see us this Sunday at Georgetown’s Bridal Show… it’s FREE and you don’t want to miss out on Sweet Sunday Event’s fabu design!}

Remember back in the day when I was really good at posting blogs DAILY? Well, I’m trying, trying really, really hard to get in that groove again. Most Fridays I tried to share inspirational photos, ideas or share my favorite weddings discovered around the blogosphere so this Friday will be no different! Though this is not a wedding, just a photo shoot, I just fell in love with its wonderful whimsy and couldn’t help but share my zest for this free and fun creative design…

hobnail cake

A cake that’s nothing short of stunning is all it takes to make my world stop spinning. Upon first look I was hooked, my jaw dropped and it took a minute to catch my breath. I L-O-V-E this cake so much that if my husband asked me to marry him again, this for sure would be the cake I desire…

mix it up

I’ve said it before and I’ll stand by my word to say it again… bridesmaid dresses do not have to be identical. They don’t have to be the same cut or design and definitely don’t have to be exactly the same color. Just take a gander at these amazing mismatched bridesmaid options…

dress me up

Wow, it’s everything a dress should be. Soft flowing fabrics, distinctive details, ultra feminine and without a doubt a dress people won’t soon forget. Purely magnificent and a girl’s dream come true! I want one to wear. One for every day of the week, please. It doesn’t get more glamorous than these Elie Saab gowns…

bridal show this sunday

Calling all brides: This Sunday {February 27, 2011}, you can find Sweet Sunday Events at Georgetown’s Bridal Show from 12-5p. Believe me, you don’t want to miss our booth! We have an amazing design in store and I’m just busting at the seams to share it all with you! Whether you are just beginning your planning process or if you are in need of inspiration to finish those special last minute details, you need to come see us.

Remember: We are here to help you create a cohesive design on your big day through event rentals, floral design, event styling and day of coordinating… all under one roof, it doesn’t get easier than that!

{Please excuse the lackluster invitation—I had nothing to do with its design. And by “9th Grade Center”, they mean the new high school off Hwy29.}
While at the show be sure to visit our friends: Jackson Wright Photography, Kelly Cameron Photography, Monument CafĂ©, Catering with a Twist, Paige’s Bakehouse and Galaxy Bakery.

open house this sunday

Come see us this Sunday at The Vineyard at Florence from 12-3pm and, heck, make a day out of it… Grab some brunch {and a complementary Mimosa} at 11am, tour the venue and shop the vendors {but most importantly: book us for your event!} and end it all with a wine tasting {I mean, it is a vineyard, after all}.
Seriously, though, this venue is to die for and the staff is unbelievably attentive… it won’t disappoint!

the main attraction

I love chalkboards, chalk walls and basically anything covered in chalkboard paint. After this morning’s meeting with the ultimate Anthropologie enthused bride, I came to the realization that chalkboards are oh-so good for so many wondrous things. Whether it’s in detail pieces or the main attraction, trust me when I say, chalkboard installations at your next event are sure to cause a great stir among your guests, especially one like this…
