the most important meal of the day

I am not {not.at.all} a morning person. It generally takes me a few hours to officially wake up and speak my first words of the day. So naturally, breakfast isn’t a big deal to me. I do, however, love brunch or briner {my take on breakfast for dinner}. I seriously, without a doubt, could drink mimosas all day long. And since I try to blend all my favorite things into weddings, why not have a brunch inspired wedding menu?! Just look how lovely it could be…

where in the world

So many weddings we have the pleasure of planning have guests coming in from all over the world. One in particular, guests journeyed from central Mexico, Singapore and everywhere in between. Side note: You know when guests travel so far for a wedding, they are ready to party—you’ve got to make this trip worthwhile, right?! If, at your wedding, you have many guests traveling to join in your special day or if you and your other half enjoy traveling together, here are some great ideas to incorporate into your wedding…

fabric that inspires

Once you think outside the tiny box of only using fabric on the table at your wedding, a fabulous new world opens where you can use fabric as a backdrop… or for tenting… and even in bouquets…

a chic indian summer

Be still my ever loving bohemian heart. I hope you are sitting down, because you are about to be blown away by fabulousness. Trust me, this is one chic Indian inspired shoot, snapped by Jackson Wright Photography, you won’t want to miss! After gathering a few models and hours of creative ideas bouncing around at our brainstorming table, we turned our vision into reality. Hand dipped painted feathers, a rope and fabric runner and we even added horses in the mix—seriously, no detail was forgotten {as always}! It may not have been a "real" wedding, but it's full of uniquely fun, Austin-y flare that is sure to inspire! Here are a few of my favorites, but go and see lots more here...

fun finds

Oy vey! What a crazy, hectic weekend that was {if you could even call it a weekend!}… but I’ll share more on that tomorrow. For now, how about some fun finds from around the blogosphere…
Kate Moss is wed, such a lovely wedding indeed
everything is better with ice cream atop
and even better with DIY project perched atop
nothing’s better than gold, except for gold mixed with black and white stripes

for the ultimate earthy chic gal and this one's for me

To hold you over for now, how about a sweet peek into our “mood book” for Sunday’s photo shoot with the always fun, Jackson Wright Photography

wedding: faith + peter

Gorgeous, fun and super-duper sweet... Oh-my how I love this wedding! I am so in love with every.single.element of this wedding. It brings a big, fat smile to my face every time I see it! Faith was any designer and planner’s dream bride-- with a few must have requests while letting up on the reigns so we could create the dream wedding she never saw coming. This wedding was certainly a labor of love with the groom and bride writing their own vows, a close friend officiating and our creation of surprise elements-- one of kind pieces, tailor made for Faith and Peter. I mean seriously, have you ever seen a personalized sign made from recycled dyed corks {courtesy of the Vineyard at Florence}, hanged over a well to create a wishing well of words of wisdom for the happy couple?! Lucky for us, photographer, Kelly Cameron, captured all the details we share with you today…
