Poor, poor carnations. This pretty little flower has such a bad rap, but I am on a mission to breathe life back into this neglected bloom. Okay, first let me admit that I would never use carnations in a mixed centerpiece, but I am a promoter of using carnations in floral design pieces where all the blossom heads are grouped together, creating a beautiful ruffled look.
