a little bit country

Ahhh Monday, we meet again. Welcome back from what I hope was a successful weekend! For me, Saturday and Sunday were just another day at the office. Giving up my weekend was totally worth it as I breathe a sigh of relief at the sight of freshly inked checkmarks on my list of “to do’s”! Today we begin the week by tying up loose ends in preparation for Thursday’s celebrations. Be sure to find time to stop by and visit our newly renovated storefront!

Now, let’s talk color. First it was yellow and white. Two weeks later it was sage and cream. Then ice pink, blue and silver. See a pattern occurring?! As your mood changes, so does your color choices? Been there, done that. In fact, I finally decided to have my bridesmaids wear various styled dresses in different colors because I just couldn’t make up my mind. This was the best choice I could have made, but for other brides it’s important to stick with a few colors. Some of the most beautiful weddings are the simplest. Because of this, I am dedicating this week’s blogs to three toned decor and sharing with you inspiration boards that reflect simple, classic and elegant affairs.

In the words of Coco Chanel, “Before leaving the house, a lady should stop; look in the mirror, and remove one item”. Now apply this to an event and this is what you get…
