mod neon shoot

Ever wish you could go wild and not give a hoot about who thinks your style is too…let’s say…adventurous.   Well, that’s just what we did for our last photo shoot. Teamed up with Paige Newton Photography and Richard Lizama Videography,we showed off our new {yet under construction} event space, The Union on Eighth, while displaying crazy creative art work and floral design.

Let’s take a walk… You are cordially invited to a neon and mod inspired wedding.   The ceremony tookplace in a green field that backs up to a galvanized metal wall.  The altar made with paper garland, rope, and fabric, hung for the happy couple to use as their backdrop.  Macrame string displaying hot pink rocks in glass votives brightened the middle layer. It was stunning.

Moving over to the cocktail area, the newlyweds sipped instyle.   Sitting atop leather cube chairson a white shag rug, they lounged in a room with handmade swizzle sticks, geometric piƱatas, and ombre dyed draping. Creative Parasol even made personalized coasters, invites, and drink labels for the party.  No detail was left untouched.

Ending the event with mini cakes from Polkadots Cupcakes, the Bride and Groom relaxed at their reception. A beautiful centerpiece of protea, garden roses, and ranunculus was assembled over a handcrafted leopard print tablecloth with white tassels.   The guest list included a 10 foot macrame owl art piece made of fabric, while geometric garland paper art brightened the white industrial door background.   The mood was festive and fun.  So, at the end of the day, we sure are glad we ventured out! We hope you are as well...

the watercolor wedding

Hold on to your hats, people! Wedding season is in full swing. We began with a bang last weekend as Austin and Steven got hitched at Villa Del Lago. Austin was the perfect bride, super creative in her own right and completely open minded in the world of flowers-- making our job easy-breezy! Here are a few iphone snapshots of the seriously gorgeous watercolor inspired wedding…
