The same thing occurs when I see color blocking pulled off correctly. J.Crew has color block inspired us all for years now, but the rest of the world has now caught on to what The Crew has always known. Isn’t this style oh-so scrumptious?!

One of my favorite things in all the world is receiving enthusiastic emails, phone calls and/or surprise visits from brides or their family post wedding. This past weekend we delivered our lovely farm style tables to San Antonio and this morning we received this email from the bride…

Dear Sweet Sunday,

I just wanted to take a few minutes to thank the people who helped make my day so special. The tables arrived and they were absolutely beautiful. Due to space issues I had to position them as long buffet tables which was such a happy accident. People raved at how incredible they were and how different they looked compared to other weddings. The tables were worth EVERY penny...

What a wonderfully exhausting weekend—from our farm style tables in San Antonio to our floral designs in Salado, we had our brides of I35 completely covered! I’m happy to see this weekend behind us and can’t wait to share the photos, but now it’s on to the wild month of October… we are so pumped about our upcoming designs! Until then, I could use a few tranquil minuites through these lovely shots, how about you?!

Alrighty, so you have your tables covered and adorned with the perfectly untamed arrangements, lights dangling from above to set the romantic mood that is always a must at any wedding and your bridal party dressed to the 9s {though none of them look quite as good as you in your dream dress that fits you like a glove}. But if you ask me, you’ve forgotten an important element that will guarantee your guest will leave thinking, I.can’t.believe.they.thought.of.that.too.

I love anything that sparkles. And I would guess that most other girls do too . I blame my grandma for this divine fascination. You should see her closet full of sequin wonder, in where her Vegas flashy apparel hang and gold glitter shoes sit. Heeeeello… gold.shiny.shoes-- yes, please! No doubt we are related!

Hellllllo, Vera. Welcome back to my life. I strayed when you sold out to David’s Bridal, but with your new 2012 collection how could I stay mad? The soft layered ruffles, the magnificent shades and the perfect tailoring—brides would literally be walking on a could {of fabric}.

Over done? Maybe. Still in heavy like? For sure! Nearly every wedding these days use arrows to guide guests to the shindig. Though arrows are definitely overused, I’m still a huge fan—aren’t you?!

I love when brides and grooms opted to use our vintage seating to distinguish their seats from guest seating—I mean, this really is a great way to feel like the King and Queen of the night! If it’s not within your budget to rent special seating or if vintage isn’t your décor style, you should still add a little something to your chair to make it distinctive…

Don’t-cha know that your guests want to know what they are eating? And the easiest way to keep your guests posted on dinner options are menus. Whether you use a chalkboard, window or paper, this simple addition adds quite a bit to your décor. Don’t-cha think?!

Aside from pumpkins and cooler weather, my favorite part of the Fall season are the flowers... specifically, privet berries. I LOVE privet berries! Do you remember Hailey + Austin’s wedding last year? These are probably my favorite arrangements to date. The greens, the garden roses with a hint of blues from delphinium flowers and {of course} privet berries!
